Its high content of Vitamin A makes it very beneficial in anti-acne formulations.
Raspberry Seed Oil also offers the skin broad spectrum protection from damaging UV-A and UV-B rays. It's perfect in formulas to add all natural protection from sun damage. The SPF of red raspberry seed oil has been found to be equal to that of titanium dioxide and has been rated to have an SPF as high as 40-50 SPF.
Specific Benefits for:
• Dry, dull skin: Raspberry Seed Oil moisturizes and improves skin elasticity, reduces wrinkles, dryness and skin lines. Aids in regenerating skin cells.
• Eczema, Psoriasis, and Acne: High levels of alpha linolenic acid (the highest in any fruit seed oil) and phytosterols aid in the relief of itchy, scaly, irritated skin conditions with powerful anti-inflammatories. It also contains a significant amount of Vitamin A, making it a good choice for treating acne or blemished skin.
• Dry, damaged hair: Essential Fatty Acids and B Vitamins heal, strengthen and moisturize hair and scalp. Raspberry Seed Oil promotes silky soft hair, prevents moisture loss, adds elasticity and suppleness, gives hair a beautiful shine and luster, and helps to mend split ends.
